Congratulations to Father Kelby Tingle!

We are proud to announce that Father Kelby Tingle has been appointed as administrator of St. Patricks Parish, Lake Providence Parish and Sacred Heart Parish of Oak Grove, starting February 1, 2025. 

Father Kelby Tingle is a dedicated priest serving in the Diocese of Shreveport. Ordained in June 2023, he is already known for his warm pastoral presence and insightful homilies, Father Kelby has a passion for helping parishioners grow in their faith and encounter Christ more deeply.
A native of Shreveport and graduate of Loyola College Prep, he draws on his Southern roots and approachable style to connect with people of all ages. Father Kelby is particularly committed to engaging young people, fostering a love for the Eucharist and vocations, and promoting life within the parish community. 
We welcome him to the Eastern Deanery and we hope to learn from him more about the importance of prayer, service, and living out the Gospel with joy and hope.
